A babysitter has been charged with abusing a six-month-old girl after she was allegedly caught on surveillance cameras when the parents were out.
Elena Bass, 36, was seen 'violently removing' the child from a changing table and slamming her into an armchair in the family's Brooklyn home shortly before Christmas, according to legal documents.
The girl's parents contacted police on Monday after watching the footage, the New York Daily News reported.
