Next Cedar Point coaster’s 220-foot lift hill finished

SANDUSKY, Ohio — Cedar Point has topped off its newest thrill ride, a dive coaster named Valravn, that’s set to debut next year.

Officials at the amusement park in Sandusky say the weather has helped speed up construction of the coaster, which will be the largest of its kind.

Workers finished the ride’s 220-foot-tall lift hill last week.

The coaster will have a 90-degree drop and travel at a top speed of 75 mph before going upside-down three times.
