Good morning, I'm procrastinating about getting out of bed 😂 help. What are your morning tricks to get moving when you don't want to? I'm considering hooking up a tea delivery system on my nightstand.

Today I want to talk about life stuff. I know, I do this a lot, but sometimes I feel like I need to either repeat myself for those who might have missed out, or expound upon something I’ve said in the past. I know for sure I’ve said on multiple occasions, “social media isn’t real life”, but I’m going to say it again: SOCIAL MEDIA ISN’T REAL LIFE.

I do a pretty good job of keeping it real on here, but even still, I’m not updating you guys when I accidentally eat gluten and my body goes fucking haywire and it feels like I ate razorblades & glass and I have panic attacks about not wanting to be too far away from a bathroom because my body hates me. I didn’t share that aspect of my life when that was my daily existence for five years, before I knew that it was gluten that made me so sick all the time. That’s way too TMI! But that’s REAL LIFE. These are things that we, as humans, deal with. Everyone from rich to poor, celebrities to the average person deals with this kind of shit (hee hee)... Maybe not the same thing exactly but something, and often something they don’t want to share- be it mental/physical health problems, financial worries, relationship problems, stress, or a combo of these.

I’ve been so poor that I cried when I found $10 in the self-checkout change return because it meant I could buy food for the next day too. I’ve been tens of thousands of dollars in debt. I’ve been in the hospital, I’ve been heartbroken, I’ve been drugged & thought I was going to die. I’ve been there. There is no one who escapes facing these things, just because you don’t see that side of someone doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. All the money and power in the world couldn’t protect you from heartbreak, loss, and death.

In light of the recent rash of “my life sucks and your life is awesome” comments that I’ve been getting lately I want to say: Stop comparing yourself to what you see on the internet. Stop comparing yourself to others in general. You can't see inside someone from looking at them, & pretty much at all times every single fucking person on the planet is going through some shit (hee hee) you don’t know about. OKAY LOVES? Now go outside and grab Monday by the balls! 😎

Dyed my hair with steel gray over the pink so it turned this fun metallic silver... Now I have to clean my apartment before my person comes home tonight!!! These are all my feels.

People are forever asking me for my Snapchat name (usually after I post a sexy photo, I guess because they think I have a sexy snapchat?) - I do have a snapchat, but I hardly use it. My username is internetsara, I won't add you because I don't open snaps anymore after one too many dick pics, but you can totally see my public story (if I have one, I don't always). The reason I choose not to snapchat more than I do is because I don't want to spend my entire fucking life on social media. I see so many people "snapping" or periscoping their entire lives, the shows they go to, the museums, their food, everything... Some people are into it, and I'm not one to judge someone else's choices- I get wanting to share cool things when they happen, but a lot of people seem to try to create experiences or make them seem more interesting for their audience; that I don't understand.
At what point do you miss out on what's actually going on in front of your phone when all you're looking at is your screen? At what point are you too busy showing others a curated version of what you're doing to actually enjoy the real version of what's happening? 😱😱😱

Back in LA! I look high, my body doesn't know what time or even what day it is 😆 but I had a great trip to #NYC & an awesome shoot with @inkedmag! Woot! Waiting on the #bts pics from yesterday, hopefully I'll be posting them later instead of just more #selfiesfordays - I can't wait until my personal photographer/domestic partner and I are finally reunited!

Thank you @deetrannybear for braiding my hairs after the shoot today! I haven't had a French braid probably since elementary school, I'm kind of into it. I made it to New York! Ordered a hot honey milkshake from Bareburger in Hell's Kitchen, decided to enjoy it in the bathtub. It's leaking. This seemed fortuitous. Catching up on some day job work and going into a bison-and-dairy coma before my 8AM call time. Smooth. #modeldiet #jk

Looking out the window at the #Hollywood sign with my morning yerba mate and contemplating life (v #deep - #sodeepyo)... We as humans tend to forget to be thankful for the things that are good in life when we're busy being too zeroed in on the things that seem bad.
This morning I'm listening to the city sounds & sitting in front of this gigantic (possibly larger than life-size) painting of me that Patrick works on at night when we watch Netflix, and reminding myself to check my perspective, especially in light of the worldwide events over the past week.
I'm lucky I get to share with you guys; every message or comment I get saying I've inspired someone to be more silly or to have more confidence lets me know I'm on the right track. You're all awesome.

And yes, I'm always naked.

A surprising number of people assume I have a nose job but actually I'm pretty sure it's just that I pushed up the end of my nose like dis when I sucked my thumb (which I stopped doing while awake at age 12 but have now been doing 29 years in my sleep especially if I'm stressed or don't feel good)- everyone else in my family has a perfectly straight nose except me & this is my totally nonscientific theory as to why. Photo taken a few weeks ago by @pbclark, I just found it in his phone the other day. He was creepin' while I'm sleeping because he thinks it's adorable, which is good, since I think it just makes me a hella weirdo 😂

Life is so full of ups and downs, or twists and turns; the older I get the more I learn to steer it where I can and enjoy the ride in places where I can’t.

When I moved to LA I was working a job that I was initially very excited about doing for over 40 hours a week, but it turned out to not be the job that I wanted to be doing at all. Rather than be super disappointed and misanthropic, I’ve decided to take the plunge and devote myself to creating full-time for the first time. Living in LA I’m surrounded by tons of creative individuals who drive me to be better. I’m throwing myself into this with renewed vigor, because my ass is not getting any younger.
As @pbclark and I now happen to both be “funemployed” (as we jokingly call it) at the same time, with our income coming from our preexisting creative sources rather than traditional 9-5 jobs, we have decided to use our free time to pursue artistic collaboration for the next little while. Our goal is to ultimately culminate in a book of analog photos, including art nudes. Yes, of me. I’m even going to try my hand at photography again, which I haven’t done since I took a darkroom course in high school. Our home base is a tiny studio apartment that doesn't even have a stove. I couldn't be happier.

I’ve just launched a Patreon, which you may have seen me posting about ad nauseam, and with the support I’ve gotten in the first few days I purchased a professional printer to make my own prints at home. I have a ton of shoots lined up in the next week with other photographers, but I also have some road trip dates lined up with Patrick to shoot content that will end up as rewards on Patreon and in the book. YOU GUYS. I AM REALLY EXCITED ABOUT THIS. Thank you all for letting me be me. Really. Truly.

I'm working on putting together a Patreon to help, among other arty things, create a book (that will include some *gasp* topless photos) of photos from our private collection. This will be nothing but instant film scans and 35mm film photos, some of black and white film that my boyfriend develops in the darkroom. We shoot all this fun stuff just for ourselves so I figure that if anyone is fan enough to support the Patreon or purchase the book, they are worthy of seeing the art we create ☺️ one of the Patreon rewards will be the original copies of the instant film that's going into the book... This project isn't cheap and it's going to take some time, but I'm pretty excited about it. And of course there are people who will inevitably say LOL I'M GOING 2 WAIT TIL SOMEONE TAKES PICS OF IT & UPLOADS, they're not going to be high resolution and they're going to be hella #arty #farty.

Getting festive today... Doing something today that you guys have all been asking for (still not porn). I already shared this on my Facebook and my boyfriend asked, "But did you put that pic on Instagram?
